Next, dictate words and have student spell the words (e.g., four, pour, hour, sour).
Have student read short passage(s) that contain these teams.
During the month drill student, at least 3 times weekly by holding up a card with the vowel team and asking them "What sound does this team make?"
When the student automatically starts saying the sound the moment they see the drill card, they have mastered the sound.
