Terms, Conditions, & Refund Policy

Pay-by-Session

​Payment

  • Pay-per-session bookings are charged in full at the time of scheduling.

  • Sessions are scheduled based on availability and are confirmed once payment is received.

  • Secure online payment methods are accepted.

Cancellations

  • Sessions canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice are eligible for one of the following (family’s choice):

    • A full refund, or

    • A rescheduled session within 14 days, subject to availability.

 

Late Cancellations

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

  • One courtesy reschedule may be offered at the tutor’s discretion.

 

No-Shows

  • Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice is considered a no-show.

  • No-shows are non-refundable and not eligible for rescheduling.

 

Tutor-Initiated Cancellations

  • If the tutor must cancel a session, families will receive either:

    • A full refund, or

    • Priority rescheduling at no additional cost.

 

Technical Issues

  • If a session cannot be delivered due to tutor-side technical issues, a refund or make-up session will be provided.

  • If technical issues occur on the family’s side, the session will be considered delivered after 15 minutes of unsuccessful connection attempts.

 

Agreement

By booking a pay-per-session appointment, families acknowledge and agree to these payment, cancellation, and refund policies.

​Monthly Package

Refund Policy (Monthly Package)

​

All monthly tutoring packages are billed in advance to reserve your child’s scheduled time. Because sessions are custom-planned and time is held exclusively for each student, monthly package fees are non-refundable once the month begins. For new customers, if you cancel 7 calendar days before the first session, you will receive a full refund.

 

Cancellation by Parent/Guardian (Monthly Package)

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or text message).

  • If cancellation notice is received at least 7 calendar days before the next billing cycle, the upcoming month will not be charged.

  • Cancellations received less than 7 days before the billing date will take effect the following month.

Mid-Month Cancellations (Monthly Package)

​

  • No partial refunds are issued for unused sessions once the month has started.

  • Unused sessions do not roll over to future months.

Tutor-Initiated Cancellations (Monthly Package)

​

If a session is canceled by the tutor, a make-up session will be scheduled or a prorated credit will be applied to the following month.

Student Absences / No-Shows (Monthly Package)

​

  • Sessions missed without 24-hour notice are considered used and are not eligible for refund or make-up.

  • Sessions missed with 24-hour notice may be rescheduled within the same month, subject to availability.

Service Interruption or Emergency (Monthly Package)


In the rare event that services cannot be delivered due to tutor illness, emergency, or technical failure, families will receive either:

  • A make-up session, or

  • A prorated credit applied to the next billing cycle.

Families may request a one-time lesson plan adjustment or instructional review within the first two weeks if they are concerned with how I'm instructing. This does not include refunds but ensures I am meeting your goals for your child.
